Welcome to the Thorun Wiki. A place where we record and accumulate information about events, characters and locations, based off our experience in our Dungeon and Dragons 5e Discord called 'The Steel Merigold'. The game style of Steel Merigold is much similar to West Marches, in which we are a sizable community of Dungeon Master and Players, playing games in one shared world, in this case the one of the Thorun Setting.
The Steel Merigold
At the fringe of a port stands a tall tower. Its bricks grey, cracked and chipped betraying its age, but still, it stands without fault. From within a warm orange glow pours out into the cold harsh night, along with the constant stream of laughter and the smell of roasted meat. Despite the uncertain times, life finds a way to thrive, to grow, to flourish; so is the motto of the guild, to bloom and be well-known
Half a dozen silhouettes march purposely towards the aged building, returning from an excursion into the unknown. Small cheers resound from the hall that is the foundation of the tower. Unbeknownst to them the party is missing one. For we must never forget that this world, like many more, is unforgiving as Death prowls the lands with an unmerciful grin.
Now that you are hurled into this strange uncharted world, will you risk your life to discover untold riches? Will you devote your time to become a legend that people praise in their songs and tales? Will you join the Steel Merigold?
